These treats are loaded with antioxidants that protect cells, cognitive function, prevent cancer, and heart disease. If you want to change up the recipe every once in a while these yummy treats can also be made with cranberries, blackberries, strawberries, or raspberries.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup ground flax seed
  • 2-3 tablespoons water
  • 2/3 cup oatmeal

Instructions:

  • preheat oven to 350
  • place oatmeal in food processor, or blender and process until it becomes flour like consistency
  • puree the blueberries, set aside
  • combine flour, oatmeal and ground flax seed
  • fold the blueberries and yogurt into the dry ingredients making a dough (add some water if necessary to hold dough together)
  • roll out dough on floured surface to about 1/4” thickness
  • cut out desired shapes and place on nonstick or on parchment paper lined cookie sheet
  • bake for 15-18 minutes (oven times may vary)
  • once cooled store in airtight container in your refrigerator

Love to hear from you!
