This weekend I spent some time at a local adoption event in Cherry Hill, NJ, with Sherry’s Place Rescue: a small local 501(c)3 non profit rescue group dedicated to re-homing Yorkies and other small breed dogs in need.
I met some wonderful pups who are looking for their forever homes, and had a chance to chat with the ladies who founded the rescue and get a good look at the custom made jewelry they were selling to help raise much needed funds.
You can watch a short video of the event here:
Back in June, is when I first introduced you all to Sherry’s Place Rescue and the 3 phenomenal founders who do it all! In case you missed it, that post can be found here:
Sherry’s Place Rescue is currently in need of fosters for the many pups that come into rescue. If you are interested in volunteering, donating or are looking to adopt a furry family member head over to their website!
If you are a Rescue, Shelter or know of a dog that has been in either for a long period of time and you would like Paws Give Me Purpose to help network and tell your story and theirs, please reach out to us. If you would like us to cover an adoption event to help promote your Rescue/Shelter and pups please do so as well.
