Shelter Spotlight: Get Ready To Fall In Love

This is Brody, the pup that has sadly just earned the title of the longest resident at the Babylon Shelter. 2 1/2 years is a long time in a shelter after arriving in June 2015 at 4 years old….it’s just so heartbreaking!

Brody is a looker! He is tall, handsome, slim and muscular boy. He has the build and athleticism to run a marathon. Brody can run like the wind!

The best home for Brody is one where he will get frequent exercise and receive continued training. Brody is great at catching treats in the air and especially good at convincing you to throw them his way. This boy knows how to work his magic when he wants that treat in your hand and he will ever so gently use his paw to tell you. He is very proficient at shake paw, and has even learned to use his paw to wave at you.

Brody has the type of personality who will form a strong bond with his forever humans. This could potentially cause him not to want to share them with strangers until he gets to know them. It would be best for Brody to be your one and only. No other dogs, cats, or kids.

I know that needing to be an only pet makes it much more difficult to find a home, but I also have faith that there is a home that meets Brody’s criteria. Brody is a great catch and in the right home he will excel.

Please, I ask that you all share Brody’s story. Help me network him. Together we can find his forever home! If you or anyone you know is interested in more information, fostering or adopting Brody, please reach out to the shelter.
