If your dogs are anything like ours, they will LOVE these treats! Our dogs are big fans of peanut butter and this is one of their favorite doggie cookie recipes.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- additional peanut butter for sandwiching
Instructions:
- preheat oven to 350
- add flour, baking powder, peanut butter, honey and milk to large bowl
- beat with mixer or hand mix until well combined into a soft dough
- roll dough on to a lightly floured surface, about 1/2 inch thick
- cut out circles using a cookie cutter or small glass
- place dough circles on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes
- allow to cool completely
- when ready to serve to your pup, put some peanut butter between 2 cookies making a yummy sandwich
- store cookies in airtight container in refrigerator
