Football season is here and your dog will surely want to join in on the game day festivities. These delicious Peanut Butter Touchdowns are a perfect snack for your pup on game days. They are easy to make and we guarantee your furry friends will love them!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups coconut flour
- 1/4-1/2 cup molasses
- 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup melted unrefined extra virgin coconut oil
- plain Greek yogurt for decorating
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions:
- preheat oven to 325
- sift flour into bowl
- add in melted coconut oil, molasses, peanut butter and water
- mix until well combined
- allow batter to rest about 15 minutes
- lightly flour your work surface
- roll out your dough to approximately 1/4 inch thick
- cut out cookies using football shaped cookie cutter
- place cutout footballs on to parchment paper lined baking sheets
- bake 25 minutes, or until firm
- allow cookies to thoroughly cool before decorating
- once cookies are cool, place some greek yogurt in to a small icing bag with a tiny nozzle or you make your own using a ziplock bag (add yogurt to ziplock then snip a small corner with scissors to create the nozzle)
- pipe football details on to each individual cookie
- once all cookies are decorated, transfer to the refrigerator allowing the yogurt frosting to harden before serving to your pup
