Victor Update

Victor was discharged from the hospital this morning, and is back at the Sanctuary recuperating.

We will need to monitor him closely to make sure he is breathing properly and that no other issues arise.

While we were aware when we rescued Victor from a high kill shelter that he had some serious medical issues, it most certainly did not and will not deter us from giving him the second chance he deserves.

For those not familiar, you can read Victor’s complete story at: https://www.pawsgivemepurpose.com/welcome-victor/

For now, we are breathing a small sigh of relief that Victor was well enough to be weaned off oxygen and come back to the Sanctuary.

At only 17 days into the new year our medical fund is almost completely drained. We ask that you please consider making a donation to help us with Victor’s care.

If anyone is interested in sponsoring Victor’s lifetime care in Sanctuary, please reach out to us directly.

Victor Needs Your Help

Late last night, Victor began having difficulty breathing; we rushed him to the emergency room. To say we are frightened would be an understatement.

He has been admitted to the hospital and is currently receiving oxygen.

Blood work and chest X-rays have already been performed, and we will do whatever else is necessary to help determine the best course of treatment for him.

Above all else, we at Paws Give Me Purpose put quality of life first, and Victor most certainly has shown us his desire for life, for love and this second chance.

Our promise to Victor is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of his life.

Asking for money isn’t easy to do, but Victor needs you now more than ever – please help us help Victor!

Feeling Blessed

Beautiful Lucy received a very special gift the other day.

With the help of her favorite person here at the Sanctuary, Lucy opened her package to find a beautiful prayer blanket, toy and heartfelt written card.

On behalf of Lucy all of us here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., want to thank Fur Angel Blessing Blanketeers and most especially to Lyn Minervini for making Lucy her blanket.

We know that all the love and prayers you have all showered upon Lucy will be answered as she heals mentally, physically, spiritually, and begins a wonderful new chapter in her life filled with nothing but love, happiness, caring and kindness in our Sanctuary.

Thank you for thinking of Lucy and making her part of your FABB family!
