On behalf of all the Sanctuary residents, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our 2025 Sanctuary Guardian Angels. 

Thank you for becoming Guardian Angels to our Sanctuary residents. All of us at Paws Give Me Purpose are so very grateful for your generosity. 

Your support helped make a difference in the lives of the dogs we cherish. YOU are all a major part of the work we do, and are the driving force behind us!

To each and every one of you as well as every one of our devoted followers and supporters, we wish a joyful holiday season.

Meet Tilly

On Friday, the Paws Give Me Purpose Team welcomed Tilly to Sanctuary. 

A gentle senior who has clearly lived too many hard days. She was found wandering the streets of the Deer Park area of Long Island. She was dirty, matted, confused. She was picked up as a stray and brought to the Babylon Animal Shelter. 

When the shelter reached out to us, we immediately said yes, took her under our wing and promised her the best second chance at life! 

Her body was neglected, but her heart is still kind. The shelter shaved away her mats and filth, but she was scared and a bit snippy. Wouldn’t you be? Trust will take time, and patience but every soft nap, every tail wag, and every brave step forward is a victory for her. 

Help us give Tilly the comfort, medical care, and calm she has always deserved. Your donations keep the promise we make to every precious soul that walks through our Sanctuary doors – you are safe now! There will never be another day of fear and loss.
