It’s very easy to get wrapped up in everything going on in the world around us, but Thankful Thursday helps us at Paws Give Me Purpose take a step back and focus on the positive – saving a life!

Meet our newest Sanctuary resident, Nutella. This stunning little girl was surrendered to a shelter after suffering a traumatic injury which caused sudden loss of control of her hind legs.

While it is difficult to stay focused on the good things in life, when we deal with so much daily heartbreak, we are thankful for all of you.

Each and every one of you makes it possible for us to save the most unwanted dogs who seemingly have no hope and we are forever grateful – we believe they are, too.

Now for the part we hate the most – asking for money. Vet bills are growing and sadly, donations are not — we need your help!

Our Sanctuary residents Phineas and Ferb are popping in to wish you all a Happy Sunday!

Much like the famous Disney/Disney+ cartoon characters they are named after, our boys are extremely intelligent and know just how to get what they want. Just look at these faces – how could anyone deny them anything?

It just makes it even more difficult to understand how anyone could have just thrown them away like yesterdays newspaper.

Their advice on this beautiful but chilly Sunday – use every precious moment you have to live your life to the fullest every single second of every single day just like they do.

It’s $5 FRIDAY and donations are greatly needed to support the Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary residents. 

Pictured here is one of our precious hospice Sanctuary residents, Socks. Socks is really a trooper and one of the sweetest boys to ever enter our Sanctuary doors. 

Although we cannot change his past or take away the pain he must have felt the day his family surrendered him to the shelter, we can assure all of you that he will be happy and spoiled for as long as he is with us. 

Life with hospice dogs can be exhausting, inspiring, and busy beyond belief – it is imperfectly perfect. We wouldn’t have it any other way – but, we cannot do this without YOU!
