Ferb Pupdate

Ferb is popping in to wish everyone a good evening and to share a brief pupdate photo of himself.

For those that are regular Sanctuary followers; if you recall he arrived almost bald. Well, take a look at his fabulous fur and how beautifully it’s growing in!

Many including some of the members of our Veterinary team believed it would not grow back – but yet here we are making progress.

For those not familiar with Ferb’s arrival to our Sanctuary, please head over to:

This beautiful senior soul suffered way too long and now thanks to your support, he is healing; emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

This is another wonderful miracle. This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc.

Progress Pupdate

And now for a quick pupdate…

Our precious Sanctuary resident Dot, surrendered to a shelter for euthanasia because “she could no longer walk”.

Well look at this – we are making progress!

Miracles happen every single day here at Paws Give Me Purpose – sometimes they are big sometimes they are small. This is today’s miracle.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

Socks Medical Update

As much as our team hates sharing sad news, we pride ourselves on the ability to fully disclose information about our sanctuary residents to our supporters and donors.

The biopsy results on Sock’s ruptured mass have come back from the lab and it is not what we wanted to hear – Socks has soft tissue Sarcoma. The cancer is a grade 3 with a total score of 6; in short, this means it is a high grade cancer that is fast growing and is more likely to spread. We have no idea how long he has been allowed to suffer this way.

Please know that quality of life is top priority to us here at Paws Give Me Purpose, and we are making sure Sock’s has everything he needs, that he is comfortable and when the time comes the dignity he deserves.

Although we cannot change his past or take away the pain he must have felt the day his family surrendered him to the shelter, we can assure all of you that he will be happy and spoiled for as long as he is with us – he deserves this second chance.

This is not the update we had hoped for Socks, but we have high hopes he still has some quality time. We ask that you continue to send positive healing thoughts, vibes and prayers his way.

Socks is really a trooper, and one of the sweetest boys to ever enter our Sanctuary doors.

More to come on this precious soul as we monitor his medical needs and manage his care. You’ve got this Sock’s we love you and we are all in your corner!
