Deepest Gratitude

Giving the unwanted, abused, neglected, senior, hospice and special needs animals life for no matter how long they are with us is what makes Paws Give Me Purpose a special place.

For the dogs that call our Sanctuary home, they seem to really know they’ve been given a second chance, and they readily show their gratitude.

Today, little Teddy is popping in to extending his deepest gratitude to Susie’s Senior Dogs who has teamed up with Chloe’s Fospice Friends and awarded us a grant to help with Teddy’s care.

Mr. Ted needed a comfy and cozy place to continue his retirement, filled with nothing but love and happiness and with your support, we are making it happen!

Welcome Teddy

Although Teddy is considered a hospice case, to us he is another beautiful, senior soul who did not deserve to die in a shelter. Teddy wants nothing more than to be loved, and he returns affection many times over.

Small Things With Great Love

Here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., we try to spend each and every day doing small things with great love. Small, daily acts of kindness and love toward our pups are what make us who we are as an organization.

We had very beautiful Spring-like weather here in Southern New Jersey today so it was a perfect day for some outdoor activities.

Pictured here is our beautiful Miss Ellie enjoying a private ice cream outing with some of her favorite staff members.

While this may not seem like a big deal to you, for Ellie it was a very special day. She had a fabulous time receiving some undivided attention, enjoyed some vanilla custard, greeting some local individuals she met and of course brought ice cream back to the Sanctuary for all her doggie friends.

With so many dogs here, it can be difficult for each of them to get the 1:1 time we crave, but we really try as hard as we can to make that happen!

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose; small things with great love. We are making sure that Ellie is enjoying her golden years to the fullest and will be as spoiled and loved as she should be.

We give every dog that comes through our doors their best life daily with unconditional love for the rest of their lives!

Happy Birthday Cocoa

Miracles happen every day here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., and for our resident Cocoa, aka Baby Shark, this Birthday was extra special.

Having arriving at our Sanctuary in June of 2021, after having suffered the unthinkable, including someone deciding it was a good idea to break her little tail and then dump her at a shelter with a variety of health and behavioral issues. Her fear and distrust in humans especially toward men was completely understandable.

Today’s celebration of Baby Shark’s life was also a celebration of a great accomplishment for her – she actually allowed a male staff member to hold her for the very first time.

For possibly the first time in her life, she enjoyed a party in her honor. She was a bit unsure about what was going on but, she did enjoy some delicious cupcakes and is already cuddling up to some new toys.

This is what makes Birthday celebrations so special here at Paws Give Me Purpose.
