Paws Give Me Purpose provides Sanctuary for the abused, neglected and most unwanted souls who have been let down by humanity. 

We give senior, special needs, and hospice dogs a new life; a chance to be loved, cherished and when it’s time, the dignity they truly deserve.

Like all rescues, our donations are at an all time low and we really need your support to continue giving these precious souls everything they need to thrive and live their lives to the fullest.

Meet Oreo

Yet another precious, senior soul thrown out to the freezing cold streets because he was no longer wanted by those who promised to love him forever. 

No one knows how long he was out there but it is clear by his appearance and medical conditions that he has been seriously neglected. 

Estimated somewhere between 15-17 years of age, we could not stand by and allow him to die alone in a shelter. Not only is quality of life important here at Paws Give Me Purpose, quality of death matters too. 

It may not be enough, but in the end we know that we are doing the right thing. Oreo’s life matters! 

Please open your hearts, help us fight to give Oreo the opportunity to live the best days of his life knowing nothing but love, kindness, compassion and dignity.

Delicious Pumpkin

Our delicious Pumpkin is popping in this Thankful Thursday to say hello and show off her much-improved skin and adorable head tilt. 

While the world may not always be easy to live in, each and every one of you makes it possible for us to save the most unwanted dogs who seemingly have no hope; for that, we are forever grateful, and we believe they are, too.

Pumpkin is thankful for this second chance at life, to love and be loved. She enjoys every day to the fullest knowing that it’s a precious privilege to be alive – and it’s all because of YOUR support.
