Your Support Is Critical

There are just 14 days left in 2025!

More than ever, your support is critical. We ask our supports to help us raise life-saving funds. With your help, we can continue our mission of giving unwanted, abused, neglected, senior, hospice and special needs animals life for no matter how long they are with us.

Each contribution, big or small, goes directly towards the care of our Sanctuary residents.

Won’t you please consider making a tax-deductible, year-end gift to Paws Give Me Purpose? Consider sponsoring a Sanctuary resident, or becoming a Guardian Angel to our Sanctuary!

We have dedicated our lives to those that no one else will save; but we cannot continue to do this without you!

Their Second Chance

Dogs with special needs like little Rosie are often abandoned by humans who promised to love them forever. Because of humans like YOU, Rosie is alive today and will be loved and cared for the rest of her life.

Here at Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary, our mission is to provide a bridge of care that supports senior, hospice and special needs dogs so they can live their lives to the fullest.

We give these precious souls another chance at life. A chance to be loved, cherished, and learn that not all humans are unkind. There is no doubt that rescue work is difficult, and providing Sanctuary is even more difficult. Our days quickly turn into nights, and it’s a matter of fact that there is very little sleep as we provide 24/7 care.

A major part of what we do is provide ongoing medical support and treatment for the dogs in our care. We work closely with our Veterinary team to maintain a good quality of life for our Sanctuary residents for as long as they are with us.

Rosie and all of her Sanctuary friends need people with extra big hearts to help us give them their second chance at life and becoming a Guardian Angel to our Sanctuary helps make it possible for us to provide them all with what they need and deserve.

Please consider becoming a Guardian Angel to our Sanctuary. As a Sanctuary Guardian Angel, your donation will help provide annual care to all of our Sanctuary residents.

As a Guardian Angel you will help make a difference in the lives of the dogs we cherish.

Meet Bandit and Yugi

We showed you their shelter photo, some of you already know they were a last minute save. What you don’t know is the truth, the heartbreaking story of how they ended up behind shelter walls, and the truth about their medical conditions.

Their owner had passed away, and these boys were left in the care of a family member who admittedly dumped them on the streets because “they weren’t dying fast enough”. We are enraged.

Both these dogs have clearly been starved, starved from both food and affection. They are emaciated beyond our comprehension; their nails severely overgrown. Yugi is 12+ years of age and is covered in numerous large masses that dangle from his skin. As if that’s not enough, he has double cherry eye, severe periodontal disease, muscle wasting, a grade 3 systolic heart murmur, and cranial organomegaly (the enlargement head/ skull area). Bandit at 18 years old, also has severe periodontal disease, systolic heart murmur, severe muscle wasting.

The level of neglect here is beyond heartbreaking and it is clear veterinary care was never provided. We have no way of knowing how long they have struggled or how long they have endured pain with no relief. It is way past time for them to receive the much needed medical and comfort care.

Bandit and Yugi are now safe and never go without care again. Every moment from this one forward will be filled with nothing but kindness and dignity.

These boys have a tough road ahead of them, and there are no guarantees, but their lives matter and we will do everything in our power to help them so they can enjoy their remaining golden years to the fullest.

Please help us give Bandit and Yugi the care they should have received all along. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help change their lives.
