Please join us in wishing a very special little girl a Happy 13th Birthday!

Not knowing when Brownie was actually born, we designated the day she was rescued as her Birthday – the start of her new life.

Birthdays here at Paws Give Me Purpose are not just a celebration of getting a year older, it’s a celebration of a life and we are making sure that Brownie is comfortable, happy, and enjoys her golden years to the fullest!

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose; Brownie thanks you for giving us the ability to do what we do.

Today was Vet day for a few of our hospice residents here at the Sanctuary, and as much as we hate sharing bad news we believe our supporters deserve full disclosure.

Our worst fears have sadly been confirmed – little Clarice has the dreaded “C” word.

While cancer is something we deal with often here at our Sanctuary it’s not something that ever gets easier to hear.

For now Clarice is comfortable, eating what she likes, and spoiled beyond belief. Quality of life is very important to us here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., and if and when the time comes we will cross that necessary bridge.

Miracles happen here every day, and we could sure use one right now!

So, no matter who or what you believe in, we believe prayers are powerful. Today we are asking all of our followers and supporters to send your strongest positive thoughts and prayers Clarice’s way.

It’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our lives that matters.

For Spirit, Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary is home; a place where she has learned that not all humans are unkind. She now knows what it’s truly like to be loved. Dogs like Spirit inspire us to become even better human beings.
