Meet Chip, our newest arrival here at the Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary.

At 12 years of age and a mere 3 pounds, his medical and emotional condition are simply beyond our comprehension. How could any human be so cruel as to allow him to suffer for years, then tossed him out onto the streets to fend for himself?! 

This sweet, loving boy was so badly neglected and was so close to dying without ever knowing humans can be kind – we could not allow that to happen. We know his time with us may be short – but we could not allow him to die alone in a shelter.

Life with hospice dogs is exhausting, busy, inspiring, and imperfectly perfect. We wouldn’t have it any other way – but, we cannot do this without YOU!  Please help us fight to give Chip the opportunity to live the best life possible in his remaining years.

It’s $5 FRIDAY and donations are greatly needed to support the Paws Give Me Purpose Inc. Sanctuary residents.

Today we would like you all to help us welcome one of our newest Sanctuary residents, Dot. This precious soul was surrendered to a shelter by the family she thought would love her forever – instead they requested she be euthanized because she can no longer walk.

There is a special light in her eyes, a clear will to live and enjoy her golden years to the fullest. Dot is extremely sweet, enjoys being held/carried around or sitting in a lap and we have begun spoiling her.

Thank you so much for making it possible for us to save the most unwanted dogs who seemingly have no hope. We are forever grateful and we believe they are, too.

We wanted to pop in and give you all a quick update on Socks.

He is back at Paws Give Me Purpose resting comfortably after a very long and difficult day.

He did well during surgery; his sutures will be removed in 10-14 days, the mass has been sent to the lab, and we should know exactly what we are dealing with in a few days.

We have medications on board to keep him comfortable and will continue working on getting him to eat a little more each day.

In the meantime, it’s time for Socks to begin healing – mentally, physically, and spiritually.
