The dogs that call Paws Give Me Purpose Inc. Sanctuary home came to us when no one else stepped up for them during their critical time of need. We give them the life they may otherwise have never had. Our promise to these beautiful souls is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of their lives. It is often a daunting task- and at times filled with heartache.

But then there are those moments where you have to just smile and laugh at the cutest quirky things happen here on a daily basis.

Our handsome man Stan fell asleep on the edge of the water bowl – a moment we will always smile about.

These are the moments that make us feel good about what we do here even when there are many out there that disagree with it.

We hope you can all take a moment today to smile, even if it’s only for a second and enjoy this moment with all of us here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

In the eyes of this angel, we see sadness, pain, fear and the worry that he will be hurt again – it makes us want to cry. We cannot comprehend how anyone could have hurt him so badly. 

Look into this angel’s eyes and tell us how someone can justify this level of neglect – there is absolutely no justification for this!

Look into this angel’s eyes and tell us what kind of human being could commit this level of cruelty to an innocent animal. Have we as human beings lost our ability to care?

Estimated to be about 14 years of age, this fragile little senior boy found himself left on the street to fend for himself – we can only imagine his suffering. We have decided to name this precious soul Ferb and with all of you by our side, we promise Ferb will NEVER suffer again. 

Ferb is now safe with Paws Give Me Purpose but his journey has just begun. Ferb’s life matters and we will do everything in our power to provide him with everything he needs and deserves in order to live his golden years to the fullest.

What makes Birthday celebrations so special here at Paws Give Me Purpose? It’s not just a celebration of getting a year older, it’s a celebration of a life!

It is still difficult for us to comprehend how such a sweet little senior found himself dumped by a family who promised to love him forever.

Charlie needed a comfy and cozy spot to continue his retirement, filled with nothing but love and happiness and with your support, we made it happen!

This year Charlie will also be celebrating his 2nd year here at our Sanctuary. He was given a second chance at life when he arrived and todays birthday celebrates that new life.
