Phineas Update

The handsome Phineas was not very happy with us today for taking him for some medical tests; however, we are glad we did because now we have some answers.

Proper heart medications and supplements have now been started and it is time for him to live out his senior years to the fullest and in comfort here at Paws Give Me Purpose for as long as he is with us.

We thank you all for your outpouring of support for Phineas and we ask that you continue to send prayers and share for donations so we can give him the best life daily with unconditional love for the rest of his life like he deserves!

Phineas is also hoping to find his very own lifetime sponsor, could it be you? If you are interested in signing up to become Phineas’s sponsor please reach out to us directly.

New Beginnings

Here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., every day is a new beginning.

For Ellie and many other special needs hospice seniors, we are that special place where they can take a deep breath knowing they are safe, smile, and start again.

Since arriving at our Sanctuary, this beautiful girl has been through a major surgery and although she requires very specialized care, she is feeling so much better!

For those not familiar with Miss Ellie’s arrival to our Sanctuary, head over to: https://www.pawsgivemepurpose.com/ellie-needs-you/

Ellie is still on limited activity, but she is really enjoying freedom from total restriction and wearing that lovely plastic cone. She is spending time with a few of the other dogs who are more sedate and don’t get her too excited in a quieter area of our Sanctuary.

She really enjoys their company and a good bully stick to snack on.

Our promise to Ellie is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of her life.

We are making sure that she has everything she needs in order to enjoy her life to the fullest and is spoiled as she should be.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

Welcome Phineas

Extremely neglected and then thrown out on the street, you can see every one of his ribs. Although most of what’s left of his hair covers some of the evidence, this tiny boy is beyond emaciated, malnourished, anemic, his spine is crooked, has sores and fresh wounds on his skin, a horrible cough and an extremely bad heart – he needs immediate medical attention and will see our Cardiologist as well.

When he was found and brought to the shelter he was also extremely dehydrated, covered in fleas and extremely matted with feces. He is not neutered, and due to the severity of his heart condition any type of surgery may not be possible; we will know more after we consult with the Cardiologist.

This sweet boy has clearly suffered way too long and it’s time we changed that – how could we say no?

We decided to name this gentle senior boy Phineas, and the only way we can help him is with your help; so please DONATE! Rescue is difficult, and providing Sanctuary to the most unwanted is even more difficult. Our expenses, mostly medical, greatly outweigh the donations we receive – and although we never want to say NO to a dog in need, we are now left with no choice.

Donate now please so we can help Phineas!
