Itās tiny Tofuās terrific tongue out Tuesday! This precious little girl knows how to make us smile.
Whether itās doing her little dance over to cuddle with you, or trying to steal the entire log of honey goat cheese from your hand, there is no way you can resist the urge to laugh at her total disregard for all the others who are waiting for their snack.
She hopes you all had a ridiculously amazing day and took a moment to smile for the memory of it will last forever.
Itās very easy to get wrapped up in everything going on in the world around us, but Thankful Thursday helps us here at Paws Give Me Purpose take a step back and focus on the positive.
Meet Mimi, this precious senior girl was in dire need of a special kind of retirement home, and we happily said yes when our shelter partner reached out. At 17+ years old, her life matters and she still deserves to enjoy life, be cared for, happy, and loved beyond measure. YOUR support makes this all possible.
While we experience so much daily heartbreak here at PGMP, we are thankful for all of you. Mimi is also thankful for this second chance at life, and is enjoying every day she is with us to the fullest.
Our promise to Mimi is to provide her with a safe and loving environment for the rest of her life. No matter how long she is with us, we are committed to keeping this promise.
Please open your hearts and make a donation to help us with little Mimiās care; no amount is too small.
Sprite was abandoned on the streets by humans who promised to love her forever and found herself waiting behind shelter walls for a second chance at life.
Sprite has neurological issues; a head tilt, is ataxic caused by damage to the cerebellum of her brain and does some circling. She is very thin with a body score of 2/9, has marked dental disease as well as a misalignment of her mandible. Additionally, she has a cardiac murmur grade 2/6.
Paws Give Me Purpose takes in a never-ending stream of sad, hopeful, and fearful faces that look to us to make it all better. Our goal is to provide respect and dignity to all beings, no matter their age, appearance or health status – Spriteās life matters! Special needs dogs should not be defined by their circumstances, and Sprite is not aware that she may be different from other animals of her kind.
Sprite and all of her Sanctuary friends need people with extra-big hearts to help us give them their second chance at life and becoming a Guardian Angel to our Sanctuary helps make it possible for us to provide them all with what they need and deserve.
Our mission at PGMP is to provide a bridge of care that supports senior, hospice and special needs dogs so they can live their lives to the fullest.
A major part of what we do is provide ongoing medical support and treatment for the dogs in our care. We work closely with our Veterinary team to maintain a good quality of life for our Sanctuary residents for as long as they are with us.
Without our wonderful supporters, none of this life-saving work would be possible. Without your continued support, we are unable to continue our mission. YOU are all a major part of the work we do, and are the driving force behind us!
Please consider making a donation to help us with Sprites care, or become a Guardian Angel to our Sanctuary. As a Sanctuary Guardian Angel, your donation will help provide annual care to all of our Sanctuary residents.
As a Guardian Angel you will help make a difference in the lives of the dogs we cherish.
