Safe Travels Holly

Back in November, we were alerted of a little girl in dire need of help – a very special needs senior abandoned in horrible condition at a Texas shelter.

She sat waiting in fear and discomfort. We knew she needed us, so we of course said yes to taking her under our wing.

We named this precious blind and deaf senior soul Holly. We simply could not let her down.

Holly has been under the care of our Texas team, Kathy and Megan, as well as our Veterinarian at South Central Veterinary Service.

She is finally well enough to be brought to our Sanctuary to live out her remaining golden years to the fullest and will be traveling by air courtesy of SWATT Southwest Animal Transport Team tomorrow.

Please join us in wishing Miss Holly a safe and enjoyable trip – we cannot wait to finally meet her in person!

Welcome Beau

Last week, we welcomed some extra special visitors from the Jersey Shore Animal Center, bringing with them our newest Sanctuary resident – Beau.

Beau is 15 years old and was returned to the shelter after having lived in the same home since 2013; his owner fell ill and was no longer able to care for him. The shelter reached out to us seeking Sanctuary for him and of course we said yes – he deserves to be loved, cherished and cared for the rest of his life, and we are committed to keeping this promise – he is already loved by all!

This senior sweetheart has a lot going on medically, but he does not let it stop him from enjoying life. Beau’s eyesight and hearing aren’t the best. He has very few teeth left, a good amount of muscle wasting and is slightly underweight. His back legs do slip out from him when he gets tired and he carries most of his weight in his front legs. Beau’s bloodwork showed that he is in the later stages of kidney disease and he is currently eating a prescription diet and taking a phosphate binder supplement as well.

It goes without saying that we will do our best to make everything better for him so he can enjoy his remaining golden years to the fullest. We need YOUR help to continue to give all of our Sanctuary Residents including our newest resident Beau everything they need and deserve.

Please open your hearts, dig deep and make a donation – we cannot continue to do this without YOU!

Sponsor A Sanctuary Resident

Adorable Paco dreams of the day that all the abused, neglected and unwanted animals out there have a place to go where they feel safe and loved just as he does.

For many of the dogs who make Paws Give Me Purpose their home, it is the first time in their lives they feel safe and loved, and we make sure these feelings last forever.

Our promise to these beautiful souls is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of their lives. We need your support to continue to provide them with lifetime care.

More than ever, your support is critical to our success.

Monthly donors are our best friends; they help each animal that comes to us with immediate and sometimes life-threatening needs.

When you become a sponsor you will make wishes come true for our Sanctuary dogs. Your gift toward their lifetime care in turn helps save more lives than you can imagine.

Join our community of monthly donors and be a hero for our Sanctuary Residents. Your donations have a direct impact on how many dogs we can save. Only with your help can we say yes to more senior/special needs dogs.
