Sanctuary can be defined as a place of peace, refuge or safety, a place where people or animals can live and be protected. This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose; we treat every dog that comes through our doors with excellent care, compassion and love.

There is nothing in the world like watching a dog blossom here at Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary and enjoying the life they never had. You can see them finally let go and feel free for perhaps the first time in their lives.

Our promise this beautiful soul is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of his life. We are making sure that Elmo is truly enjoying his golden years to the fullest and is spoiled as he should be.

Our Sanctuary Residents

Once again Paws Give Me Purpose is picking up the broken pieces of a heart; with all of you by our side, we will do our best to make her whole again – that is a promise!

Meet Snowball. After being part of the same family her entire life, she was surrendered to a shelter in horrible condition. All she wants is to be loved, held close and cuddled and instead she almost lost her life. How could we say no to her?

This sweet, frightened little girl needed to be rescued immediately, there was no time to waste. While we don’t know much about her yet, we do know that she needs immediate urgent medical attention – and we are turning to you for help in order to help her!

She suffers from marked cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), marked right atrial enlargement – her heart function is seriously compromised. Additionally she has elevation of trachea, reverse “D” sign – prominent bronchial pattern which is suggestive of mild concurrent airway disease.

This girl needs us, together we can give her a miracle!
