Happy Birthday Ginger

When Ginger came to the shelter, they immediately called us at Paws Give Me Purpose; having been diagnosed with acquired hydrocephalus, Ginger’s future was very uncertain.

For those not familiar with Ginger’s complete story, please head over to:

Ginger’s will to live is simply amazing – we make certain she gets to enjoy every day to the fullest. Every second of the day she is here with us is a gift, a second chance at life, and today she celebrated that new life with a party in her honor.

Miracles happen every day here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., and for Ginger this Birthday was extra special.

Please join us in wishing little Ginger a very Happy 14th Birthday!

Tito’s Hope

For Tito, Paws Give Me Purpose was his only chance. We were his last hope to be loved and cherished as he should have been his entire life.

Found wandering the street, he was extremely emaciated, fearful, unsocialized, had severe guarding issues, and is a biter.

The options for the shelter were to euthanize or find a rescue who would be willing to take him. Due to his behavior no one else stepped up for this tiny soul; that is when we received that special call.

Where else can a senior dog like Tito just be himself and not have to worry about being tossed away due to his eccentricities? Where else can a dog like Tito feel safe and loved no matter his nasty little temperament?

Tito is one of our Sanctuary residents for over a year now, and thanks to Tito’s sponsor and all of you we are able to provide him with the love and special care he might otherwise have never know.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose Inc.

Forever Young

All dogs are beautiful, but senior dogs have a way of touching our hearts in a way that changes everything!

Today was an extra special day here at Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary; our oldest senior residents celebrated their Birthdays. Calvin 23 years young and his brother Hobbes 22.

They enjoyed a fun-filled evening with some staff and their doggie friends. Cupcakes and of course presents were shared with all the dogs here in Sanctuary – big and small.

Everyone enjoyed themselves, especially Calvin and Hobbes. Next month will mark their second year anniversary here at our Sanctuary. After living many years of criminal neglect and deprivation, they now know what it is truly like to be loved and are enjoying being spoiled by so many wonderful caring people.

Please join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to both of these very special boys. Today is not just a celebration of their getting a year older, it’s a celebration of life. Calvin and Hobbes were given a second chance at life by coming to Paws Give Me Purpose, and today was a celebration of their lives.
