Lulu Does Brunch

This is the face of a dog who truly enjoyed her breakfast this morning – and truth be told, Talulah enjoys every meal just like this!

Needless to say, she will be getting yet another bath today, but she enjoys that too. We just had to share this moment of joy with all of you before we wash the evidence away.

She gets so excited at mealtime that there are no real words to express it – Lulu “does brunch”; she takes her time and she never leaves a crumb behind.

If Lulu is happy, we are happy, and her happiness and the happiness of all our Sanctuary residents is our number one priority!

Lulu is living her best life daily with unconditional love for the rest of her life.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

Fills Your Heart

Snickers is just stopping in to say hello and thank you to all our fabulous followers and supporters. When some donation boxes arrived here over the weekend, he just could not wait to pick out a new toy to cuddle. He stalked those boxes until everything was unpacked.

Here at Paws Give Me Purpose, Snickers receives both physical and emotional comfort, companionship and enrichment on a daily basis, which he deserves in order to enjoy his golden years to the fullest.

For those not familiar with his story, Snickers was abandoned at the same shelter TWICE by humans he had considered his forever family. To read his complete story, head over to:

It’s all because of you that we can give Snickers and every dog here in Sanctuary what they need to thrive and live their lives out to the fullest; the way it was meant to be. You give them all hope for a future full of love and happiness.

For Snickers, Paws Give Me Purpose Inc. Sanctuary is home. A place where he has learned that not all humans are unkind, and what it’s truly like to be loved.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose. Thank you for giving us the ability to do what we do.

Welcome Candy

Her name is Candy. She is tiny, frail, and while it’s true she’s a senior dog, she still wants to be loved and enjoy her golden years to the fullest.

Candy is estimated to be over 14 years old and was removed from a hoarding type situation by Animal Control along with several other dogs.

She was found very unkempt, dirty, matted, covered in fleas. Candy is also blind, deaf, missing all of her teeth, has a heart murmur, is extremely underweight and arthritic. Additionally, she was not spayed and has mammary masses.

We can only imagine her suffering, and with all of you by our side, we promise she will NEVER suffer again. Candy is now safe with Paws Give Me Purpose but her journey has just begun.

She is sweet, small, and has been removed from the only life she has ever known; we need your help to make things better for her. Please donate to help us with Candy’s immediate and ongoing care – no amount is too small!
