Terrific Twelve

Surrounded by her human and doggie friends, our beloved Sanctuary resident Spirit celebrated her 12th Birthday in style!

Spirit’s will to live is simply amazing, and every second of the day she is here with us is a gift.

Please join us in wishing Spirit a very Happy 12th Birthday!

Ten Times The Love

Here at Paws Give Me Purpose, we believe a difficult dog gives back 10 times the amount of love we give.

When things become a bit more difficult – we work harder to give them their best lives daily, unconditionally.

For Spirit, PGMP is home, a place where she knows she can just be herself. At this time, Spirit is going through some new medical challenges; she has lost back-end mobility and has recently been diagnosed with a cancerous sarcoma. We will do everything in our power to make sure she’s comfortable, happy and has only the very best Vet care possible – including a set of wheels to help her get around.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

For those who are able, we ask that you please make a donation to help us with Spirit’s ongoing medical care. We cannot continue to provide any of this valuable care without you!

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hers.

Meet Grover

Meet Grover, a super senior (well over the age of 15) and our newest resident. He arrived yesterday after our friends from the Voorhees Animal Orphanage reached out for help.

Our goal is to provide respect and dignity to all beings, no matter their age, appearance or health status.

While Grover’s history is a mystery, we do know that his condition is abysmal, pointing to medical neglect. He is blind and one eye is bulging and ulcerated, his body is emaciated and he has severe dental disease; his mouth smells like death.

Since his arrival, Grover has been resting and decompressing, he has a very hearty appetite – which is a great sign and our Vet team is already scheduled to come out to see him along with several other of our residents.

We need YOUR help in order to give this precious boy everything he needs, including only the very best Vet care; we never settle for substandard care. We just hope we are in time to give Grover the golden years he deserves.

Please open your hearts, help us fight to give Grover the opportunity to live the best life possible in his remaining years. We cannot do this without YOU!
