At a mere 5 pounds, this precious soul had been brought into the shelter as a stray and it is abundantly clear that she was for whatever reason no longer wanted or useful to those who put her out in the streets to fend for herself.
We can only imagine how long she has been uncomfortable in her own body, yet she still loves and wants to be loved – that’s the heart of a dog, unconditional love.
Today, little Prada had surgery to remove the masses that had been allowed to grow on her tiny body. This surgery was crucial but was not without risk. We hope this will give Prada the best quality of life for as long as she is with us.
The masses have also been sent out for biopsy in order to learn exactly what we are dealing with medically.
We know many are struggling, but our outstanding Vet bills are enormous; we truly need your help!
