Today was meant to be surgery day for Violet. The goal was to remove the massive and very angry Mast Cell tumor that she has carried around for who knows how long.

Due to its size and location, the surgeon stated that there is simply no safe way to completely remove this mass and we are devastated for her.
We have no way of knowing how long she has suffered dragging around this mass, and we will be reaching out to our Oncologist with hope that he can give us other options so we can continue to give Violet the best quality of life for as long as she is with us.

We know many are struggling, but we need your help to rebuild our very depleted medical fund. We hate asking for money, but we need your support now more than ever to continue providing the essential medical care Violet and all our Sanctuary residents need and deserve.
