It is seeing the ugliest parts of the human race, leaving you with so many questions you wish you had the answers to.
It is holding on to a dog’s body so tight as they pass away in your arms and your heart shatters leaving you feeling so defeated.
It is when you don’t think you can take another loss and you don’t have any more tears to cry. It takes a toll on you mentally, physically, emotionally. It will sometimes break you, but it is important work that you do.
