We know how many are struggling, but with the difficult medical cases that have recently walked through our doors, and continue to come in, your support is critical more than ever!

We have outstanding vet bills, life saving medications, prescription diets, and supplements administered daily that are greatly needed.

For little Ozzy and the many other special needs seniors that call Paws Give Me Purpose home, we are that special place where they can take a deep breath. They know they are safe, they can smile, and start again.

To everyone reading this post, thank you for joining us on every Sanctuary dog’s journey. Our gratitude and thanks for every follower and supporter is truly immeasurable.

While we acknowledge that we cannot save them all, we recognize the immense impact on the lives we can.

We walk them to the Bridge when their bodies are too broken, too painful, and too damaged; not always because they are old, but because they were failed by the humans who promised to love them forever.

Our Team continues to show up because these souls deserve better. We will keep fighting for dogs like Otto, but we are simply enraged at the fact that we have to keep cleaning up the same heartbreak while the people responsible for abandoning these precious souls in their time of need get to walk away without looking back.

We all bear a responsibility to infuse the world with kindness. Can every life be saved? No, but if we have the ability to give warmth instead of fear, food instead of hunger or even just one chance they wouldn’t have had otherwise, we try.

On this Thankful Thursday, our beautiful Honey is popping in to say hello and show off how fabulous she looks and feels.

At over 19 years of age, she was surrendered to the Philadelphia ACCT, by those who decided her unconditional love and life had an expiration date. They clearly had no concept how valuable this senior soul’s life truly is. Honey’s life matters and she will spend this chapter of her life being cared for and loved beyond measure!

You can see the special light in her eyes, a clear will to live and enjoy her golden years to the fullest and for as long as she is with us, we will make it happen!

For Honey and many other special needs seniors, we are that special place where they can take a deep breath knowing they are safe, smile, and start again.

It’s because of wonderful supporters like you that we can give Honey what she needs to live her life to the fullest – the way it was meant to be.
